Outlaws Of Love
Adam Lambert

Oh, Nowhere left to go
are we gettin' closer, closer?
No, all we know is no
nights are getting colder, colder
Hey, tears all fall the same
we all feel the rain
we can't change

Everywhere we go, we're looking for the sun
Nowhere to grow old, we're always on the run
They say we'll rot in hell, but I don't think we will
They've branded us enough
Outlaws of Love

Scars make us who we are
Heart and homes are broken, broken
Far, we could go so far, with our minds wide open, open
Hey, tears all fall the same
we all feel the rain
we can't change
Everywhere we go
we're looking for the sun
Nowhere to grow old
we're always on the run
They say we'll rot in hell, but I don't think we will
They've branded us enough
Outlaws of Love

Everywhere we go
we're looking for the sun
Nowhere to grow old
we're always on the run
They say we'll rot in hell
but I don't think we will
They've branded us enough
Outlaws of Love…Outlaws of Love…

Listen
Beyoncé

Listen
To the song here in my heart
A melody I start but can’t complete
Listen (mmm)
To the sound from deep within
It’s only beginning to find release
Oh, the time has come
For my dreams to be heard
They will not be pushed aside and turned
Into your own, all ’cause you won’t listen

Listen
I am alone at a crossroads
I’m not at home in my own home
And I’ve tried and tried
To say what’s on my mind
You should have known
Oh, now I’m done believing you
You don’t know what I’m feeling
I’m more than what you made of me
I followed the voice you gave to me
But now I’ve got to find my own
You should have listened
There is someone here inside
Someone I thought had died so long ago
Oh, I’m screamin out
And my dreams will be heard
They will not be pushed aside or worse
Into your own, all ’cause you won’t listen
Listen
I am alone at a crossroads
I’m not at home in my own home
And I’ve tried and tried
To say what’s on my mind
You should have known
Oh, now I’m done believing you
You don’t know what I’m feeling
I’m more than what you made of me
I followed the voice you gave to me
But now I’ve got to find my own
I don’t know where I belong
But I’ll be moving on
If you don’t, if you won’t
Listen
To the song here in my heart
A melody I start but I will complete
Oh, now I’m done believing you
You don’t know what I’m feeling
I’m more than what you made of me
I followed the voice you think you gave to me
But now I’ve got to find my own, my own

Every year since 2008, I’ve spent time in late December planning my life for the next year. The idea is to create a road map for the year ahead – not a rigid daily schedule, but an overall outline of what matters to me and what I hope to achieve in the next year. It’s pretty similar with the Performance Metrics which we use in the companies, but not that rigid.

Here is what I put into the review every December.

  • Results from last year
Look at the goals I set last year. Did I achieve the goals or not?
    - What went well this year?
    - What did not go well this year?
  • Wonderful moments
There are always a lot of great moments that we want to remember.
  • Plan for next year
Start looking towards the future, based on goals that are set by category.

    1. Personal life
    -Family
    -Health
    -Travel
    -Other

    2. Career development

    3. Personal development
    -Tech
    -Management
    -Other

Note that all the goals should be measurable, otherwise they are just meaningless.
